The situation of Nepal, which is being guided by China, has become exactly like that of Pakistan. Just as the Pakistani government raises its finger on India for every activity that takes place in the country, Nepal has also started to blame New Delhi for every problem.

Nepal is facing floods at the moment and in its eyes, India is behind it. Home Minister Ram Bahadur Thapa said on Monday that construction activities carried out by India on the border have blocked the flow of water and resulted in flooding of various places in southern Nepal. Both India and Nepal often face flood-like conditions during the monsoon season and hundreds of lives have also been lost in the past.

It is worth mentioning that the Water Resources Minister of Bihar had said last month that Nepal has stopped all the repairs of river embankments in Bihar on the Indo-Nepal border. Despite this, the Nepalese Home Minister’s blaming of India shows his Chinese-Pakistani mentality.

Thapa further said that some construction work has been done by India on the border, due to which the flow of water has been affected and Nepal is facing floods. He also said that the Nepal government had taken some diplomatic steps to solve this problem, but to no avail.

Thapa said that the agreements signed during the Indian Prime Minister’s visit to Nepal have not yet been implemented. It is known that in the last four days, floods and landslides have killed 41 people in different parts of Nepal, while 41 are missing. Myagdi district of western Nepal is worst affected with 27 deaths.
