Such a rift between Rani Mukerji and Preity Zinta

There was a time when Rani Mukerji and Preity Zinta were always together like twin sisters. Rani and Preity Zinta became very fast friends during the movie ‘Chori-Chori Chupke Chupke’. So much so that Salman Khan, the hero of the film, often felt himself to be Neglected. During that time both Rani and Preeti were A Class heroines. Both were working in films with the top heroes of that time.

Who came between friendship?

Actually, Preity always considered herself an outsider. Due to his friendship with Rani, he also became good friends with Karan Johar Camp and Shahrukh Khan. Preeti always felt that Rani Mukherjee wanted and praised Aishwarya more than that.

Aishwarya and Rani did a world tour together in the beginning of their career. At that time, both came close to each other. It was believed that Rani even used to say that no matter what happens, she will never break her friendship with Aishwarya. But the confession in the films finally raised the wall between the three.

Shah Rukh Khan first signed Aishwarya in the film ‘Chalte Chalte’. Rani was replaced by Ash after Salman Khan’s uproar. Ash could never forget this. Rani came close to Preity after a fight with Ash. But when Karan Johar signed Preity in her film ‘Kal Ho Na Ho’, Rani was hurt. He felt that Shahrukh was his good friend and would promote him.

Preity was not appreciated

Rani Mukherjee felt that Yash Raj film producer-director Yash Chopra favored him. Yash Chopra said in an interview that Preity is the best heroine of this time. The queen was shocked by this. After this, Rani decided that she will work in the film Meaningful. She did a film like ‘Black’ which did not do well at the box office, but the critics liked it a lot.

Rani Mukherjee revealed in a recent interview that no two heroines can be friends in the film industry. No matter how good you think for the other, as soon as it comes to offers in films, you become a competition for each other.
