Washington: US President Donald Trump thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi for wishing the nation the 244th Independence Day, saying that America loves India.

Independence Day is celebrated on four July in America. America celebrates the publication of the Declaration of Independence from the British Empire on this day in 1776. This day is a national holiday in America.

On Saturday, on the occasion of America’s Independence Day, Prime Minister Modi tweeted, wishing Trump and American citizens, “We honor the freedom and human enterprise that is celebrated on this day.”
